Creating Reddit App Credentials
You'll need to create a Reddit application to get your API credentials:
- Go to Reddit App Preferences
- Click "Create App" or "Create Another App"
- Choose "script" as the app type
- Fill in app name (e.g., "My ReddyBot App")
- Set redirect URI to:
http://localhost:8080
- Copy your Client ID (under app name) and Client Secret
Required Information:
- Reddit Username: Your Reddit account username
- Reddit Password: Your Reddit account password
- Client ID: From your Reddit app (14-character string)
- Client Secret: From your Reddit app (27-character string)
